Goals

A SMART goal is Specific, Measurable, Attainable(Action), Realistic, &Time-Oriented one. Specific means that the goal is straight to the point and not too broad, I want to get a degree. Measurable means it's able to put a time, price, etc., on the goal. Attainable usually means that your goal is capable of being reached or that you can achieve your goal. Realistic means that your goal is not just some once in a million dream like "I want to be have superpowers" or anything like that, but something that happens in everyday life graduating from college. Last but not least the Time-Oriented part means that you have a time period in which you plan to achieve your goal. An example of a SMART goal would be "I want to graduate from college with a degree in...within the next four years" it's specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and even time-oriented.

My summer goal is to work hard and prepare for school in the fall. That's two but they are my two main goals for this summer. They're specific, they can be measured, they're attainable if I stay focused, they're definitely realistic, and the time I want to do all this is before I start school which makes them time-oriented.

My longterm goal is to attend college at Temple University to graduate with a degree in Psychology so that I can get a job as a licensed Psychiatrist. I plan on doing all of this within the next 5 to 7 years, however while I'm studying and going to school to do this I plan to have a job to help pay for school and a place to stay.
